True Offset Printing

The new Direct Imaging press is a four-color offset printing press, which links directly to any PostScript prepress system through a process called “Direct Imaging.” Direct Imaging uses the digital information from PostScript systems for press make-ready and for the on-press simultaneous imaging of the printing plates.

Disk-to-Plate Advantages
The elimination of film, photographic plates, and all chemistry usage and disposal saves you the costs while being friendly to the environment. And because the DI is a waterless offset press, using conventional printing inks, rather than toners, the printed image quality is comparable to traditional high-end lithographic printing.

There's More
The DI press will print on nearly as wide a variety of stock as its bigger conventional cousins. Quick turnaround of affordable and vibrant short-run color, and ease of updating with latest information follow as a bonus.
